Thomas B. Watts was born March 13th, 1930 in Fort Worth Texas to Charles Thomas and Lillie Pearl Trickey Watts. He passed peacefully on April 14th, 2022 with his children at his side.

Thomas moved to Abilene Texas in 1939 and it would be here that he would meet and marry Patricia Ann McGeehan on Austin 24th, 1950. Thomas attended Texas Tech University where he studied Civil Engineering. He also briefly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.

Thomas and Patricia moved to Austin Texas in 1954 where Thomas began his career as a Land Planner, designing mostly residential subdivisions. He would have a significant hand in designing a plethora of the Austin Area subdivisions, including Cherry Creek, Quail Creek, Westover Hills, and many others. He, himself, designed and named the very well-known "West Gate Blvd". He continued his Engineering for 60 years until shortly before his passing.

Thomas was proceeded in death by both his parents and his loving with Patricia. He is survived by his daughter (Shelly Barnhill David of Laurence, KS) and son (Todd Watts of Buda, TX), as well as granddaughter (Caitlin Puckett of Austin, TX), grandson (Christopher Puckett of Lawrence, KS) and step granddaughter (Allison Crofoot of Desoto, KS)

Thomas humbly requested that no services be planned.
