Patricia “Trish” Mae Terry (Onika)

December 29, 1942 to February 17, 2021

Patricia “Trish” Mae was born on December 29, 1942 to Arthur and Alfreda Onika. She spent her childhood and youth in Gary, IN. Trish played speedball throughout high school at Emerson High and was elected Football Queen her senior year. As a natural athlete, she enjoyed tennis, golf, water, and snow skiing. Trish also found joy in traveling, cooking, and gardening.

Patricia was ahead of her time and developed a successful career in data analysis, before computers were an everyday part of life. While living in Minnesota, Trish followed her passion of baking and opened and ran a successful bakery.

Trish married her soulmate, William Terry, on May 6, 1977. They met in Valparaiso, IN, moved to Plymouth, MN and Indianapolis, IN, then made Austin, TX their final home. Together Trish and Will traveled the world, enjoying many cultures and sights. Will lovingly describes Trish as independent, strong willed, and in control of her own destiny, which he always admired.

Patricia is survived by her husband and soulmate William “Will” Terry, sister Deborah Brazys and husband, and niece Lindsey
