Jodie Lanelle Eaddy, 82, passed away on February 15, 2021 and is now reunited with the love of her life, Javo Eaddy. Lanelle was born in Austin, Texas, on August 14, 1938, to Hazel Herrin and Jodie Wheeler. She graduated from Travis High School, retired after many years of service from Travis County and was a proud Oak Hill resident her entire life. Lanelle met Javo Eaddy in 1967 while playing softball in Oak Hill. They were married six weeks later. They happily raised two sons together, Jimmy Eaddy and Glenn Eaddy.
Lanelle is preceded in death by her husband, Javo Eaddy, parents, Hazel & Jodie Wheeler and her sister Anita Wheeler. She is survived by her sons Jimmy Eaddy and wife Angie and Glenn Eaddy and husband Thom Vaughn, a brother, Jesse Wheeler, a sister, Juanita Jackson and many special nephews, nieces, family and friends that she loved as her own.
Lanelle loved to spend time with friends and family, play games, was an avid reader, a great cook and seamstress, loved her soap operas, watched every baseball game possible, kept her own stats and was a huge Rangers fan.
In accordance with her wishes, no funeral or memorial service will be held at this time. Her ashes will be scattered amongst locations that were special to her and her family.
