Ismael Garcia Rocha of Austin passed away on January 15, 2021 at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. He was 57 years old.

He was born on August 12, 1963 to George and Juanita Rocha in Port Huron, Michigan.

During his life, Ismael worked in the oil fields, was a truck driver and upon his death was employed by CWS Apartment Homes in Austin as an Assistant Maintenance Director.

Ismael loved the Lord and his family; they were his greatest joy.  He loved spending time with family and friends.  He enjoyed barbecuing, traveling with his wife and visiting with family and friends.  Ismael never met a stranger.  He would do anything for his family and to help others.  He will be remembered as a person who lived a joyful life and brought joy to so many others.

He is survived by his beloved wife Viola, his daughter Janie Nicole Cerda of Little River Academy, son Ismael Rocha, Jr. and wife Yajaira of Woodward, OK, son Ernest Perez and wife Brentley of Holland, son Phillip Perez of Temple, and son born in his heart Gilbert Gonzales and wife Monserrat of Austin, his 10 grandchildren whom he adored; and his siblings;

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Juanita Rocha and siblings,
Fermin George Rocha, Joe Rocha, Rebecca Vidal and Virginia Morales.

All Faiths Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.

A virtual memorial service was held Saturday, January 23, 2021, officiated by Pastor Joe Marin, his nephew, of Bradenton, FL.
