Celler Stene McAllister was born on January 21, 1939 to Curtis and Beatrice McAllister in Minden, Texas.

She attended Minden Public School where she graduated with honors and was named class Valedictorian. Celler accepted Christ at an early age at Hall Spring C.M.E. Church. After graduating from High school she went on to Beauty School in Austin, TX. Celler worked for Micheal's Hair Company for 44 years. She loved doing hair and meeting new and very important people until her retirement in 2012.

In 1959, she met George Wallace Kelley, and they wed in 1960 and were blessed with four children: Micheal, Terry, Vanessa and Pamela. Later a divorce was granted. In 1968, she met Herman Wilkins and they wed in 1976 welcoming five step daughters: Evelyn, Patricia, Sandra, Michelle and Gladys.

Celler spent her time watching sports, working in her garden, decorating her yard for holidays, cooking and traveling to Shreveport, LA & Las Vegas, NV to gamble with her husband, Herman. She was a member of the Buffalo Soldiers where she went on trail rides and did outdoor cooking.

Celler was preceded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Curtis McAllister; four sisters, LaVelda, Joyce, Dorothy and Lavern; three brothers, Leon, Wyatt and Homer; and stepdaughter, Patricia.

Celler is survived by her husband, Herman; her children, Micheal (Crystal), Terry, Vanessa and Pamela; stepdaughters, Evelyn, Sandra, Michelle and Gladys; brother, Dwayne (Willie Mae) of Austin, TX; sisters, Eldoris, Nellie and Debra of Tyler, TX; grandchildren, Deshay, Twashana, Aramis (Jefferson), Amari and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
