Anthony Patrick Lamme Jr 79 of Austin Tx retired APD Senior Sergeant.

Died on Wednesday April 21, 2021 of complications following a stroke at the Texas Neuro rehab center Austin TX

Anthony (Tony, Pat, and AP) Born 11-21-1941 in Austin TX was the 2nd son to Anthony Patrick Lamme Sr and Fannye Laura Holloway Lamme. Anthony lived in Austin TX his whole life and attended Austin H.S. & UT Austin.

He served in the US Marine Corps and was a retired Austin Police officer. During his life he was a Welder, a Construction worker, loved automotive body work and racing cars. His hobbies included lapidary and leather working, he loved to read, and enjoyed classic country and 60s rock Music. He loved TV shows like: How It’s Made, the history channel, Cops, Forensic Science, Westerns, scuba diving, boating and photography.

He was always ready to give a helping hand, he was a leader, teacher, had a can do attitude. He enjoyed steak, Ice cream and Dr Pepper.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Brothers Hall and James; Sisters Barbara and Lois; Son Timothy. He is survived by his 3rd wife Nancy A Morgan-Lamme, son Anthony P Lamme 3rd, Grandson Jacob I. Barry, his serving Siblings are Myrtle Bashara and Charles Lamme, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was a loving husband, brother, uncle, father and grandfather. Friends, family and honesty were the most important traits to him. He was loved and admired by so many; truly a superman.
