Amy Mae "Gail" Richardson was born to the late Sam Shuler & Ammie M.D. Shuler on May 27, 1944 in Gonzales County, Texas. She graduated from Rosenwald High School out of Luling in 1962,and that
following year she would go on to graduate from Creasant Beauty College(Austin, TX- 1963). On October 4, 1964 Gail united in marriage to the love of her life; James Louis Richardson, and shortly thereafter they relocated to Austin, TX.

Amy professed Christ in her life at an early age; attending Little Hill Baptist Church. Upon her relocation to Austin, TX she became a dedicated full time member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church. She loved her Church Family.

Continuing her educational journey she enrolled into Nursing School at Job Preparation Center Inc. and became a Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) in 1972. Due
to her deep love for children, Gail also became a certified foster parent in 1975. Not long after, Amy and James would soon begin their very own family;
and were blessed to have 5 beautiful children: Shlinda, James Jr, Pamela, Michael and Antanika.
As it would have it, she went on to graduate from goodwill industries of Austin, Electronic Assembly Training Program in 1980, however decided to move
forward with her cosmetologist/beauty license and eventually opened a beauty salon, and launched her hair care product line. With all that she had going, she
never stopped loving and caring for her family and friends. She lived the remainder of her years as the families matriarch.

Amy Richardson was called home on January 12, 2022 where she will fellowship with the Angels in Heaven. She is preceded in death by her parents, 6 sisters, 6 brothers, and 3 Grandchildren: Jamar Harris, Jarvis Richardson and DiJon Jerrells-Spencer.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband of 57 years; James Louis Richardson, her brother Elder Dixon, 3 daughters, Shlinda Harris (James), Pamela Richardson and Antanika Richardson, and 2 sons James Richardson Jr
(Kimpell), and Michael Richardson. Her mother in law Annie Pearl Johnson, and sister in laws: Gladys Scott, Georgia Steen and Cora Lee. 12 grandchildren and
12 great grandchildren. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends; along with her long time care taker Mary Lewis.

Gail was a true giver, with such a beautiful soul, and the heart of an Angel. She changed the lives of so many; family, friends and strangers alike.
