Victoria Zapalac

Our hearts are heavy with the passing of our angel, Victoria Jade Zapalac. She passed away on September 30, 2015 at the young age of 7 years old. Victoria was born in Austin, Texas, April 11, 2008 to Shawn and Jennifer (Hector) Flowers-Zapalac. Victoria was a happy, loving child that enjoyed doing for others and will forever be remembered for her compassionate and affectionate personality. The memory of her special notes and how she loved to give gifts to others will forever be in our hearts. Knowing that she is in the arms of the Lord will help to bring us comfort in the days to come. We hope to fill the void in our lives knowing she will be with her Mimi Sharon and be watching over us as our Guardian Angel. She always said that she wanted to fly like a bird to Jesus to see her Mimi Sharon.

Victoria is survived by her parents Shawn and Jennifer (Hector) Flowers-Zapalac; her siblings, John Flowers, III (Hannah), Jordan Flowers -Maxwell (Eddie and their son Edison) and Grant Walker Zapalac, Grandparents; Bill and Diana Hector, Steve and the late Sharon Zapalac; Great-Grandparents; Alvie and Lucy Tinberg; Uncles and Aunts; Steve and Coey Zapalac, Shannon Zapalac and Neal Hector, Cousins; Kristin Zapalac- Miles, Mary Claire Zapalac, Kennedy Zapalac, Bailey Anne Hector, Perry Hector, and Addison Hector.

There will be a visitation for family and friends Sunday, October 4, 2015 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at All Faiths of the Pines located at 110 American Legion Road, Smithville, Texas (512-237-3836). The Funeral Service will be held the following day, Monday, October 5, 2015,2:00pm at First Baptist Church located at 300 Hudgins St, Smithville, Texas. Victoria will be laid to rest following the funeral in Oak Hill Cemetery located on Hwy 95 S, Smithville, Texas.
