TremArt James, Jr. was born to TremArt James, Sr. and Imogene Monroe on November 30, 1944. TremArt passed away peacefully from this life on Monday, May 12, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, LawAnda Michell James; his grandparents; his parents; his sister, Rosie Mae James; his nephew, Donald James; his aunts, Geneva Thomas and Sylvia Bradford; his uncle, Clarence Monroe; his granddaughter, Ayanna Michelle Tillery; and his grandson, TreMere Cradock.
TremArt attended Austin public schools and graduated from Old Anderson High School. He loved fishing, grilling, playing golf, and spending time with his grandkids. TremArt accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized and united with Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He worked for IBM for many years. After he retired from IBM, he later became a bus driver for Capital Metro, where he also retired.
In bereavement, he leaves to cherish his memories his three daughters, Dominga Hill, Angela Tillery, and Erika Tillery; two sons, Christopher Tillery and Dimitri Harper; his aunts, Rosie Bunton and Ethel Davis; his great-niece, Niene James; thirteen grandchildren, Bryson Jr., Darrien, Isaiah, Saniyah, Marli, Elbert Jr., Elijah, Kayden, Christopher, Ahmiyah, Armani, Tremesha James, and TT James; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
