Obituary

Tommy Lee Fresch, Jr. was born in Austin, TX on November 20, 1984, to Sandra Lynel Fresch and Tommy Lee Fresch, Sr. He was the youngest of four children and was affectionately known as, “Pops” and “Tiny Man.” He was always the adventurous one with an infectious smile and an unforgettable laugh. Tommy was known for pulling pranks on friends and family members. If you needed a “brave” soul- he was the one. He was fearless with a fighting spirit especially when it came to the “Twins.” Even though they would fight, the love for one another never faded. Tommy was one part of the “Three Musketeers” (Tommy, Tamika and Shanika). In their younger years, they were deemed inseparable.

At an early age, he accepted Christ as a member of the Mount Olive Baptist Church. You would always find him decked out in his Sunday’s best. He would regularly attend Sunday services and youth events alongside his mother and grandmother.

As an adult he lived his life on his own terms and was unapologetically himself. He had a way with people and made friends wherever he went. However, Tommy’s heart always belonged to his hometown and the people in it. He would call and check in with his mother and siblings to get the latest updates on other family members.

Tommy had a gift for making people laugh. His humor and zest for life touched everyone he encountered. He lives on in our hearts and the memories left behind will never fade. Though he has passed from sight, he remains ever present in spirit.

Tommy was preceded in death by his Great Grandmother: Georgia M. Rodwell, Grandmother: Gladys Helen Ellison, Mother: Sandra Lynel Burton, and Father: Tommy Lee Fresch, Sr.

He is survived by his three siblings: Lynel Gaines, Roland Ware, Raven Jones, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, great nieces and a great nephew.
