Sherry Montemayor

Sherry “Arlene” Montemayor, departed her loving family on June 25, 2023.

Arlene was born in Freeport, TX on January 10, 1957, to Harold and Dorothy Seals. Arlene was mother to Kimberly Armendarez and Elvis Montemayor. She raised her children with love and devotion in Austin, TX with her husband Mike Newman.

As a consistent provider, Arlene was known for wearing many hats and working multiple jobs to provide for her children. Arlene didn’t know how to quit. She was the true definition of a Hustler.  She was most proud of her family. Especially her Grandchildren and Great Grandson.

She is survived by her Children, Kimberly and Elvis. Her son in law Pete Armendarez and Daughter in Law Kayla Alvarado. Her Grandchildren Anthony, Felicity, Elvis, Isaiah, Elijah, Ellyce, and Axille as well has her Great Grandson Enzo.

Aside from her husband, children and grandchildren/great grandchild she adored, Sherry is survived by numerous family members, extended family, a multitude of friends and was loved by the community.

Viewing will be held at All Faiths Funeral Services on July 7, 2023, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm and Services will be held on Saturday July 8, 2023, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm.
