Born in Cleveland Mississippi

With heavy hearts and deep love, we celebrate the life of Sherrell Walk touched countless lives and whose spirit will never be forgotten. Sherrell Walker, whose presence touched countless lives and whose spirit will never be forgotten. Sherrell departed this life on May 10, 2026, leaving behind family, friends, and a community that loved her deeply.

Sherrell was more than a daughter, granddaughter, cousin, niece and friend, she was a light. She carried a presence that could fill a room and a spirit that left an imprint on everyone blessed enough to know her. Though her journey was not always easy, Sherrell's life mattered. Her story mattered. And her impact will continue to live on through those who loved her.

Sherrell was preceded in death by her father, Wesley W.; grandmother Yolanda W.; great - grandmother Catherine W.; and grandfather Joe T., who welcomed her home with open arms. 

Sherrell is lovingly survived by her mother, Nikena Coleman; and her aunt and adopted mother, Dorthey Coleman, whose love and care played an important role throughout her life. 

She also leaves behind her loving grandmother, Faye H., and grandfather, Kelvin H., and grandfather Kelvin. H.

Sherrell leaves to cherish her memory her biological siblings, Faith Washington and Jeremiah Morrall; along with her cousins who were also like sisters and brothers to her: Kashanna C., Kashayla C., Kyshawn C., and Dyshawn C.

She is also survived by her aunts Tammie C. and Tasha M.; uncles Anthony C., Antwone C., and Ricky M. 

On her father's side, Sherrell leaves behind aunts Marcia W., Raven W., and Shalonda W.: uncle Jeremy W.; great-uncle Joe Precious W.; great-aunt Debbie Robertson; cousins Brittany C., Sade W., Javis W., and Travis N. 

Sherrell also leaves behind a very special loved one, Markeatha "Mama Kiki" Simmons. who became much more than support, she became family, along with a host of loving cousins and extended family members who loved her dearly. 

Though Sherrell's time here was far too short, her memory will live on in every story shared, every tear shed, every laugh remembered, and every life she touched. Her name will continue to be spoken with love. 

Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
