Serlinda Mendoza-Rangel (61) was born on February 13, 1965 in Seguin, Texas was called home by the Lord on June 29, 2026 in Kyle, Texas.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Janie Rodriguez and Jose Antonio Rangel and her granddaughters Abriella Penalosa, Serenity Faith Rangel and Amaya Elizabeth Jaimes.

She is survived by her brothers Fernando and Lupe Rangel and her beloved children Elizabeth Jaimes, Priscilla Mendoza, Jonathan Lee Badillo and Jose Antonio Rangel as well as her many grandchildren.

Serlinda was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. A prayer warrior who stood in the gap for her children, family and friends. She was a living testimony of a God who always provides.

She grew up in San Marcos, Texas and lived her adult life in Austin, Texas. She loved Tejano music and sweets.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on July 14, 2026 at All Faiths Funeral Home at 8507 N IH 35 Frontage Road in Austin Texas. Viewing will be held from 10-12 and a word from her pastor at 12PM. Her burial will follow at 2PM at Onion Creek Memorial Park at 11610 Chapel Ln in Manchaca, Tx 78652
