Sandra Guerra Ojeda

June 15, 1961 — November 22, 2025

Kyle, TX

With deep love and profound sadness, the family of Sandra Guerra Ojeda announces her peaceful passing on November 22, 2025, handpicked by our Heavenly Father while doing what she loved most: dancing.

Born on June 15, 1961, in Eagle Lake, Texas, Sandra was the light of everyone’s life. She grew up surrounded by family, faith, and community, completed high school, then married and began a new chapter in Austin, Texas. With her baby brother, Raymond Guerra, whom she adored and called her pride and joy, she embraced life in the big city and made it her home.

Sandra was of the Catholic faith, and her love for Jesus was strong. Her faith guided her actions, her compassion, and the way she lovingly cared for others throughout her life.

She dedicated many years of service to Austin ISD as a custodian, retiring after impacting countless lives with her kindness, compassion, and joyful spirit. Never one to sit still, she continued working after retirement as a porter for several companies, eventually joining a fun-filled transport service where she enjoyed daily interactions with the elderly she cared for so deeply.

Sandra’s laugh was contagious, her energy uplifting, and her heart enormous. She was loving, outgoing, and passionate in everything she did. Making others feel seen, supported, and cherished came naturally to her. Her mission in life was simple yet powerful: to make everyone’s day better than it was the day before. She succeeded every single time.

Sandra is survived by her beloved children and grandchildren: her daughter Kimberly L. Chase and son-in-law Chris E. Chase; her son Joshua E. Ojeda and daughter-in-law Erica L. Ojeda; and her treasured granddaughters Jianna T. Ojeda and Briella B. Ojeda. She is also survived by her sister Rebecca Gonzales, along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who adored her.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Virginia G. Guerra and Raymond P. Guerra; her sister Mary A. Ramirez; and her brothers Jerry R. Guerra and Raymond Guerra Jr.

To know Sandra was to love her. She created a lifetime of beautiful memories that will be held close by all who were blessed to be part of her life. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit, laughter, and love will live on forever in the hearts of those she touched.

Sandra Guerra Ojeda will never be forgotten.
