Rosa (Rosie) Matilda (De La Rosa) Long, age 64 of Austin Texas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Beacon Hospice in Austin Texas. Rosie was born January 2, 1962 in Houston Texas to Manuel Rico De La Rosa & Martha (Ramirez) Rutledge.
Rosie was preceded in death by her parents Manuel Rico De La Rosa & Martha (Ramirez) Rutledge.
Rosie was an avid crafter & Baker especially around the Holidays. Rosie was a Born again Christian, She read the bible all the time. and witnessing to everyone, everytime she got a chance. She loved the Lord. She enjoyed Sewing, Arts & Crafts, Craft shows around Christmas time, She never met a stranger, She also enjoyed babysitting kids. and kids loved her.
Survivors include her husband of 28 years Jeffery Long & Daughter Symphony De La Rosa both of Austin Texas. Brother Charles & Kathy Landrus of Springfield Mo., Brother Stephen & Katra Landrus of Moore Okla,. and Brother Manuel De La Rosa of Austin, Tx. and numerous cousins , nieces and nephews.
