Robert Hatcher

Memorial services for Robert (Bob) Hatcher will be held at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church, Hwy 620, Austin, Texas at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 13,2012.

Bob was born October 30, 1943 in Houston, Texas. He attended Assumption Catholic School until 8th grade. While he was there, he served as an altar boy and worked on his Eagle Scout badges. He was certified as an Eagle Scout in 1958, an accomplishment that he was very proud of.

Bob graduated from Cypress Fairbanks High School in Houston and attended college at Texas A&M University. He remained a loyal lifelong Aggie.

Bob worked for the State of Texas in the State Office of Risk Management for 23 years and retired in 2012. He was passionate about life, family and friends. He loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He especially loved his wife Teresa and their dogs.

Bob went to be with God on October 5th, 2012. He is preceded in death by his father Robert W. Hatcher, Sr., mother Wanda Butts, sister Susan and brother Mike.
He is survived by his wife Teresa Hatcher, son Jim David Hatcher, brother Gary Butts and a number of family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
