Richard Samuel Woodhall aka: (Woody, Butch, Dick) of Cedar Park, Texas, died on Tuesday August 15, 2023, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Richard was born January 14, 1938, in Bellwood Pennsylvania to Russell Woodhall and Margaret Rodkey, both preceding their son in death. He has two brothers Kenneth Woodhall of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and Ronald Woodhall of Virginia Beach, Virginia both brothers also preceding him in death. He also was preceded by an infant daughter in March of 1959.

Richard was a 1956 graduate of Bellwood Antis High School, Bellwood, Pennsylvania.

Richard married Rosalie Cover on April 12, 1958 in New Castle, Pennsylvania. He then entered the Airforce in September of 1960 until his honorable discharge in June 1964. After discharge from the Airforce, Richard worked as a crane operator at Babcock and Wilcox in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. He went to school later in life for computer repair and opened his own company in the late 1980's in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania until he retired.

During the 1970's he was a member of the F.&A.M.-Masons and Umpired Little League in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania.

Richard and his wife have lived in Big Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania; Ellwood City, Pennsylvania; Kenmore, New York, and Hutto, Texas before settling in Cedar Park, Texas. After 65 years of marriage Richard is survived by his wife Rosalie Cover his daughter Robin (Richard) Comeau of Kenmore, New York and his son Richard (Rebecca)Woodhall of Austin, Texas.

Richard is further survived by three granddaughters, Dr. Jennifer(Vladimir) Badger-Presnyak of Windham, New Hampshire, Christine Heyden of Peru, New York and Victoria (Jeremy) Bruce of Austin, Texas. Two step-grandsons, Justin (Lorreina) Comeau of Amherst, New York, and Kyle Comeau of Matthews, North Carolina. Great granddaughters Hayleigh Heyden and Mikaela Heyden of Peru, New York and Emma Comeau of Amherst, New York.

Three things that were most important to Richard Woodhall were his love of faith, family, and friends.
