Raymond Furini

Raymond “Ray” Furini passed away on October 5, 2025, with loved ones at his side holding his hand.

Ray was a loving, gentle, kind and caring family man. He enjoyed a career in the paint industry as a skilled painter and paint store manager. He was a people person and enjoyed interacting with customers and providing great customer service. When Ray wasn’t working, he liked watching Aggie football and NASCAR racing, bowling, playing pool and most of all, spending time with his family.

Ray is survived by his wife Marcia Furini; children Mary Phillips and husband Terry, Pat Hairston and husband Morris, Sue West and husband Gary, Sonia Furini and wife Lisa, Phillip Furini, Rebecca Waneck and husband Daniel, Charlene Frerich and husband Jeff, and Christopher Furini; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; sisters Mary Ann Peay and Joann Kersh; and many nieces and nephews.

Ray is preceded in death by his mother Rita Furini, father Guaito Furini, daughter-in-law Sheila Furini, granddaughter Stephanie Recio, grandson Raymond Anthony Furini, and sister Mildred Francis.

A celebration of life for Ray will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 8507 N. IH-35, Austin, Texas 78753.
