On Sunday, August 13, 2023, Oscar Romo, Loving husband
and father of five, was called home at the young age of 63.

Oscar was born on December 4, 1959 in San Marcos, TX to
Cruz Romo and Zulema San Miguel. He joined the Marines
in 1978 at seventeen years old and served as a Machine
Gunner for three years seven months ending with the Rank
of CPL E4.

In 1984, shortly after serving his country, he married Ms. Dora
changing her last name to Romo and together they raised
five children, Vanessa, Daniel, Stephanie, Michael, and
Melissa.

Oscar had a passion for old crime shows, good barbque, and
genuine conversation. He loved his family deeply and knew
how to get that point across without ever having to speak
the words. His compassion was like no other and his ability
to make anyone laugh was more than admirable.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cruz, sister Janet,
and nephew Joshua Alva.

He is survived by his loving wife of
39 years Dora Romo, his mother, Zulema, his siblings,
Rosemary and Marina, his five children, Vanessa, Daniel,
Stephanie, Michael, and Melissa. And he will be forever in the
heart of his twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren,
and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews,
and friends.
