Nancy Jean Hoag passed away peacefully on September 2, 2026 in Austin, Texas after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be cherished by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Nancy was a treasured daughter, sister, aunt, great-aunt, and loving cat mom. She is survived by her parents, six siblings, 16 nieces and nephews, 14 great-nieces and great-nephews, and her three beloved cats, Little Bit, Stella, and Lola.

Those who knew Nancy will forever cherish the memories they made with her and the love she brought into their lives. Though she is deeply missed, her memory will remain a lasting part of the family, friends, and beloved pets she loved so dearly.

In lieu of flowers, her family asks that memorial donations be made to cancer research in Nancy's honor.

May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she gave so freely.
