Maggie L Mick, 72, of Smithville, TX passed away at home Friday, June 20, 2014 after a battle with a long illness. She was born September 8, 1941 in the Hills Prairie Community located in Bastrop County. Maggie is the daughter of Martha Mae and Robert Curham Lee.
Maggie is survived by her husband, George Mick; two sons, Michel Mick and wife Denise of San Antonio; Bobby Mick and wife Christie of Smithville. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Bryan Mick and wife Whitney of Crowley, TX; Brandon Mick and William Mick of San Antonio, TX; Megan Mick and Matthew Mick of Smithville, TX. Maggie was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Gordon Lee and George Lee.
She graduated from Smithville High School in 1959 and married her husband of 53 years, George Mick of Smithville, TX, on December 16, 1960.
The family of Maggie Lou Mick will hold a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 2:00 PM. The service will be in the Chapel at All Faiths of the Pines Located at 110 American Legion Road, Smithville, TX. 78957
