Lydia Benitez

Lydia Marciana Benitez, often known as Chana, was called to eternal peace on May 5, 2024. She was born in Austin, TX on January 8, 1976.

She leave behind her mother, Rachel Rivera; father, Rodolfo Benitez Sr. and wife Anita Benitez; on sister, Rosalinda Garces; six brothers, Rodolfo Benitez Jr., Elias Benitez and wife Gayla Ruiz, Jorge Benitez, David Benitez, Isai Benitez, and Daniel Benitez. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as numerous cousins.

Lydia will be greatly missed. Chana was a very special and lovable person. She was more than special, she enjoyed her life to the fullest despite her disabilities. She enjoyed watching cartoons and animal planet as well as Disney movies. She cherished stuffed animals, especially ones that made noise, but most of all Lydia enjoyed listening to music, her favorite was Tigeres Del Norte. She would dance her heart away.

Lydia was a lovable person who showed so much love to those around her through hugs and kisse.

She  has many family and friends who will greatly miss her, leaving a void but will be cherished forever in our heart of hearts. Lydia, rest in eternal peace with our lord Jesus forever and ever.
