Lisa Arriaga

Lisa Marie Arriaga born March 18, 1989, was called to Heaven on September 2, 2012. Preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents; Jesus and Consuelo Rivas.

Lisa was a graduate of Austin High School, class of 2007 and was a graduate of The University of Texas class of 2012, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. At the time of her passing, Lisa Marie was a Caregiver for David and Phyllis Roberts, and worked in the Research Lab at U.T. in the Psychology Department. She was involved with the Friend of the Family and Youth Outreach Program, with Leadership and Ethics Institute at Austin Child Guidance Center, a member of the American Psychological Association and a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

Survived by her Father; Gilbert Arriaga, Jr., Mother; Helen Rivas, Step-Mother; Anita Luna, Brothers; Gilbert Arriaga, III, Nazario Jesus Mendez, Zachary Angel Arriaga, Beautiful Niece; Grace Lina Arriaga, Paternal Grandparents; Gilbert Sr. and Carolina Arriaga, Paternal Great-Grandmother; Dominga Rodriguez, Best-Friend/Partner; Zephyr Lutz-Carrillo and a host of Aunts and Uncles.

Lisa Marie will lie in state at 10:00am, Saturday September 8, 2012 at Shoreline Christian Church, 2008 Brandt Ln., Austin, 78744 with Funeral Services at 11:00am at Shoreline Christian Church. Internment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
