Linda Peterson Kolonsky passed away on 2/26/26. She was 77 years old. Born and raised in Westchester County NY, she moved to Austin in 2023 to be with her daughter Carrie. She had an accomplished career as a substance abuse counselor, helping many people achieve recovery. She loved traveling and exploring, but she also loved and missed her home, friends and family in NY. She was a kind, sincere, loving mother and friend. If you asked anyone who knew her to describe her in one word, "warm" would be the overwhelming response. She had an amazing ability to make and keep friends. She made everyone she knew feel accepted and heard. 

This world will not be the same without her.
