LaVera Bradshaw was born June 24, 1938 in Austin, Texas to Susie Mae Williams and Martin Victor Bradshaw. She united in Christ at an early age where she became a member of Rosewood Baptist, then later moved her membership to Shiloh Baptist Church in Littig, Texas under the leadership of Lindsey Ray Wilson Sr. where she served until her health failed.

On February 3, 2026 she departed this life. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Thomas, Ernest, and Martin Bradshaw.

She leaves to cherish her memories: 3 kids Jonnie Baker, John Bradshaw, and Laverne Bradshaw, all of Austin. Along with 8 grandkids, 20 great-grandkids, and 8 great-great-grandkids, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a Bonus sister Rosie Waters-Wilson.
