Kelly Jane Finley-Brown

Kelly Jane Finley-Brown, aged 67, passed away on May 12th, 2026. She was a loving mother, family member, and friend who will be greatly missed. She passed peacefully after chronic illness surrounded by family and loved ones. Kelly was born on December 19th, 1958 to Barbara and Hubert Finley in Knox City, Texas. She had three siblings. Social, loving and easy-going Kelly was able to make a friend out of any person. Kelly was strong in her faith and was a lifelong Christian. Kelly graduated from Texas Tech with a Bachelors in Nursing (RN, BSN) and recently retired after a successful 40-year long career. Kelly is survived by her daughter Janie Brown, aged 28, who lives in Pflugerville, TX and her younger sister Karla Kelley from Waxahachie, TX. Kelly also had two nephews who she cared for like sons. Kelly’s funeral will be a graveside service that will occur on Friday May 22nd, 2026 at 2pm to close friends and family at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery (2800 Hancock Dr, Austin, TX 78731).
