Kathryn Bishop Benavides

Kathryn Grace Bishop Benavides, age 59, left this earth to be with the angels on November 13, 2022 in Kyle, Texas.

Kathryn was blessedly born November 12, 1963 in Houston, Texas to Bobby and Nina Bishop and is survived by husband and soulmate Jose Benavides, son Daykota Benavides, of whom she was very proud, and loyal pets Daisy and Sampson. ‘Kathy’ also leaves behind beloved siblings Bobbie Rutland, Billy Bishop and Terry Truxal, sister by heart Sherry Peltier, precious nieces and nephews Maggie, Aaron, Ryan, Cameron, Asa, Sammy, Josiah, Isaiah, Soleil, John Paul, and many extended family, friends and associates. All will miss Kathryn’s care, grace and zest for life motto: Live it up!

Kathryn worked as a marketing professional for 37 years in the engineering industry in Austin, Texas and, over the years, collected a breadth of trusted allies and valued friends. Kind, generous, courageous and strong, Kathryn was much loved and will be missed by many. Kathryn will be memorialized on the Walk of Friends at Zilker Botanical Gardens in Austin, Texas.
