Jeremy Larsen

October 29, 1978 — June 1, 2023

South Austin Location

On Thursday, June 1, 2023, Jeremy C Larsen, at the young age of 44, passed away due to a traumatic motorbike accident. Jeremy was born October 29th, 1978 in Ogden, Utah; he grew up in Layton, Utah.  A few years after high school Jeremy moved to Richmond, Virginia where Katie joined him. Shortly after, Kylie was born followed by Wyatt four years later. After 10 years in Virginia, Jeremy took his family on a new adventure to Austin, Texas.

Jeremy is unforgettable in every way; he was our rock. He was a dedicated father, caring son, selfless friend, and amazing husband.  His final act of dedication to his community was to ensure his life could pass through to others - his heart, kidneys, and other organs will allow others to have a second chance at life.

“Mr. Jeremy” planted the seeds of kindness, knowledge, friendship, gratitude, and love in his everyday life. I hope that everyone will take care of those seeds he planted. His open garage door was an invitation to everyone to stop by for a friendly chat and swap some shop talk. No matter the holiday or just an ordinary day, everyone was invited for an impromptu meal and beer. He exemplified positivity, writing in a gratitude journal every day. His motto was “Don't ever do anything half-assed and if you know better, do better”.  No words can describe the pain I feel right now for our kids. Our family is finding our footing without our rock. Jeremy’s huge heart continues on, both lifting this world with his energy and breathing life into other souls. He will be missed dearly by all who loved him.

Jeremy is survived by his wife Katie and two children, Kylie and Wyatt; his parents, Danny and Sanna; his siblings, Shannel, Chad (Jenny), and Benjamin (Jhon). He was preceded in death by his brother Joshua, sister-in-law Mandy, and step-dad Don.

Jeremy didn't want “No Damn funeral” so we will honor his wishes and have a celebration of life on July 1st at Stagecoach Park Pavillion , 880 Main Street Buda, TX. Please join us between 6:00PM - 9:00PMPM; bring a beer in his honor and share funny, poignant stories and memories of Jeremy.

Another Celebration of Life will be held in Layton, Utah on July 15th from 1:00PM - 4:00PM at Roosters Brewing Co . 748 W. Heritage Park Boulevard.
