Jaye Young Wadlington was born on November 30th, 1944 in Princeton Kentucky. She died peacefully yet unexpectedly at home in Austin on September 11th, 2017.
Jaye grew up in the small town of Princeton, Kentucky where she graduated from Caldwell County High School in 1963. She also graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1967, and in the same year married Jim, her high school sweetheart. This year they celebrated 50 years of marriage.
She is survived by her husband, sister Sarah, and three children - Christian, Claire and Jaye Anna. Christian, his wife Jen, and their baby son Maxwell live in Hilo, Hawaii. Claire and her husband Carl call Dripping Springs, Texas home. Jaye Anna and her husband Robert reside in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Jaye also has many other surviving extended family members.
A private memorial service for Jaye is planned just for family. Friends are encouraged to leave a message of sympathy in this website’s guestbook and make a donation to a charity of choice.
