Irene (Kassler) Bertrand, 77, of Gonzales, Tx formerly from Elgin, Tx passed away suddenly from a heart attack on June 8, 2024. She was born on January 15, 1947, in Sequin, Tx. She was preceded in death by her husband Preston and her parents and one sister. She is survived by her Children, son, Jerry Neuse Jr. and daughter, Michelle Williams and two grandchildren, Kimberly Maynard & Jonathan Williams. She was an amazing soul, she was the kindest, most giving, devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother! Her death has left a huge hole in all our hearts. Mom, may you always soar high like the Angel you are and will always be now and forever.
