Herbert Joseph Johnson was as born on 03/26/1951 in Burnet Texas. Herbert “Jojo” life's mission was to serve the lord. He served as a deacon at St Stephens Missionary Baptist Church for more than 40 years. Throughout life's ministry he served his leadership and mentored several young men offering then spiritual support and guidance.
He was a devout husband, father and friend. In his youth Herbert played football for Hays High School leading them to the regional champion ship. Throughout his life he worked in construction as a general contractor and as an insurance agent later in life.
Herbert “Joe-Joe” never met a stranger. He loved meeting people, sharing the word of God and sharing his life stories.
He was proceeded in death by his Mother, Zola M. Fisher, Beloved Grandmother Dicie L. Shelby, Aunts Janella R. Pimpleton, Virginia H. Walker and Uncle David A. Shelby.
He is survived by Spouse Regina H. Johnson, Sons Joseph M. Johnson and John L. Johnson. Brother Lindberg Fisher Jr., and sister Magret Jones and a host of beloved family members and friends.
