In Loving Memory of Erlinda Juarez

April 16, 1959 – May 16, 2025

With broken hearts and deep love, we share the passing of our beloved mother, Erlinda Juarez, who left this world on May 16, 2025, at the age of 66. She passed peacefully, surrounded by the family she so fiercely loved — just as she had always surrounded them with comfort, strength, and unwavering devotion.

Born on April 16, 1959, in Colorado City, Texas, Erlinda was the light of our lives and the foundation of our family. She embodied grace, resilience, and boundless compassion. As a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she gave her love freely and wholeheartedly — always offering more of herself than the world ever asked.

Erlinda lived with quiet faith and a deep sense of purpose. She had a rare and gentle strength — the kind that held families together, dried tears with a simple glance, and made every house she entered feel like home. Her door was always open, her table always had room for one more, and her heart never knew limits.

Her greatest joy was her family. Erlinda was a proud and loving mother to four children: JJ, Petra, Alex, and Ana. She cherished her twenty grandchildren and three great-grandchildren beyond measure. In each of them, her spirit lives on — in their laughter, their compassion, and their courage.

Erlinda is now reunited in everlasting peace with her beloved mother, Petra Reyes; her father, Jose Reyes; her brother Elidor Reyes; her half-brother Juan Castereno; and her sister Esperanza Gill. We find comfort in knowing she is surrounded by the loved ones who went before her — embraced in the love of those she never stopped missing.

To be loved by Erlinda was to be truly seen, deeply cared for, and forever changed. She was the kind of mother whose love gave you strength, whose wisdom gave you direction, and whose presence gave you peace. Her legacy is written in every life she touched, and her memory will be treasured always.

Though our hearts ache with her absence, we give thanks for every moment we shared with her. We will carry her with us — in our words, in our choices, and in the love we pass on to others.
