Erick James Marquez

Erick James Marquez, born on October 5, 1978, in Austin, Texas, passed away on July 13, 2025, in his beloved hometown. He is remembered for his caring nature, kindness, and great sense of humor, which touched the lives of all who knew him.

He is survived by his devoted parents, Bicente and Lidia Marquez. Erick was a loving brother to Michael, Jason, and Monica Marquez. He embraced his role as a father with passion and dedication, leaving behind his cherished children: Lauren, Johnathan, and Kiley Marquez. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts, and uncles who held a special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jose and Maria Muniz, who played an essential role in his upbringing, along with Courtney Marquez, his daughter, whose memory he carried with him always. Also, he was preceded in death by his uncles and aunts, including Francisco Muniz, Juanita Chavira, Frances Garcia, and Gonzalo Camacho, whose love and support were invaluable throughout his life.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Erick's life during the visitation on July 23, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Weed-Corley-Fish, located at 2620 S Congress Ave, Austin, TX, 78704.
