Daniel Dean Rosas

Daniel Dean Rosas, 59 years old, went to be with our Lord and Savior in September, 2023.  

Dean was born December 19, 1963, at Seton Hospital, in Austin TX, to Daniel Rosas and Evangelina Pena.  

Dean grew up on O’Dell St., in North Austin. He attended John H. Reagan High School.  

Dean was proceeded in death by his mother, Evangelina Pena, and sister, Deanna Kaye Perez.  

Dean is survived by his three children, his father, Daniel Perez Rosas, his stepmother Jennifer Rosas, his brother David Rosas, his sister-in-law Nora Rosas, his stepsister Layne Smith, his brother-in-law Cary Smith, eight nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.  

Dean loved football with a passion and loved to harass whoever he could about the losing team. He loved and hated The Dallas Cowboys.  

Dean loved to play billiards and darts. His favorite hangout was Texas Bar and Grill. Dean also had a passion for Rodeo BBQ.  

In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing with his dad.  

Dean was musically inclined. He played the piano and alto saxophone.  

Dean had a strong work ethic. He worked for Magnum Manufacturing, Miracle Assembly, and then for Home Depot the last several years of his life. Dean always had good things to say about Home Depot and the people he worked with.  

Dean was a jovial person. He liked to kid around and was always in a good mood. He made friends wherever he went and would give the shirt off of his back to a stranger. 

Dean loved his friends and family. He will be greatly missed by all.
