Cynthia Ann Culberson, age 64, was called home on October 20, 2026, in Round Rock, Texas.Born on October 29, 1961, in La Grange, Texas

Cynthia Ann Culberson lived a life marked by devotion to her family, dedication to her work, and a lasting presence in the lives of many others. For more than 30 years, she was a great influence in the Austin area school district, where her impact was felt across generations. Her intelligence and love of reading and learning reflected a lifelong curiosity that remained an important part of who she was.

Cynthia was also known for the many interests that brought joy and beauty to her life. She enjoyed caring for plants, sewing, crafts, volunteering, and she loved music. She had a beautiful singing voice. Those who knew her remember a woman described as beautiful inside and out, as well as an incredible woman, a powerful mother and grandmother, and a true blessing from God.

She is survived by her son, Jason Culberson (Brandy); her daughter, Tomeka Colvin; her grandson, Zayan Culberson; and her granddaughter, Zayah Jae Culberson. She was preceded in death by her mother, Roye Jean Hubbard.

Cynthia Ann Culberson was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her family and by all whose lives were touched by her presence. 

A Memorial Service will be held on November 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Rehoboth Baptist Church, 8341 Cross Park Drive, Austin, TX 78754.
