Clark Goodwin

Robert “Clark” Goodwin, 33, passed away on April 20, 2026. He was a lifelong resident of Austin, graduating from Garza High School. Clark enjoyed helping people and loved working with his hands—especially when food was involved.

Charming and outgoing, Clark made friends easily. Always willing to lend a hand, he had a penchant for defending the underdog. As a Boy Scout, he led younger youth and supported their training. Clark’s laugh was infectious, and when he was happy, he could light up a room. He loved Lana Del Rey, animals, camping and Barton Springs. And he could eat his weight in sushi. Though Clark’s path in life was not without its challenges, he embraced his choices with integrity and authenticity. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Cyndi and Glenn Jackson; his father and stepmother, Bob and Vikki Goodwin; his brothers, Trenton Goodwin and Brad Hilbert, and sister-in-law Melinda Hilbert; his nephew, Brooks Hilbert, and niece, Eva Hilbert; as well as his step-siblings, Duncan, Carson, and Kaitlyn McKinney, and Simon, Parker, and Lauren Jackson.

The family will hold a private viewing service at All Faiths Funeral Services in Austin. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in his name to Community First! Village.

Your absence has gone through me. Like thread through a needle. Everything I do is stitched with its color.” W. S. Merwin
