Charlie Fisher, Sr

Charlie B. Fisher was born on October 10, 1937 in Cameron, Texas to Tommie Lee Turner and Johnnie L. Fisher.

He was united in marriage to Stella Manor and to this union two children were born, Charlie B. Fisher, Jr. and Cindy Ann Fisher.

He attended public school in Cameron, Texas. He was employed with the City of Austin for over 30 years before retiring.

Charlie was a loving father to his children and provided for them. He showed his love by action and he led by example. His laughter would light up a room. We will never forget him.

He departed this life, July 18, 2012. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Walter Lee Fisher and Tommy Lee Fisher.

He is survived by his son, Charlie B. Fisher, Jr. (Joetta); daughter, Cindy Ann Fisher; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; his children's mother, Stella James; sisters, Gladys Jackson (Lorenzo), Bobbie Hicks, Kate Mangual (Joe), Dorris Fowler (Arthur); brothers, Eddie Fisher, Charles Fisher (Vergie), Ted Fisher, Johnny Fisher, Jimmy Fisher (Joan), Norris Fisher (Michele), Johnnie Fisher (Susan), Melvin Fisher, and Morgan Turner (Vella); nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

A visitation will be at All Faiths Funeral Services, north chapel, from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012.

Funeral Services will be held at St. James Missionary Baptist Curch, EM Franklin Chapel, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday July 28, 2012.
