Charles Earl Brown was born November 25, 1949 to Ethel Mae Brown in
McGregor, Tx. He graduated from L.C. Anderson High School in Austin,
Tx and went on to earn a college degree in Business. Charles served
honorably in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of SGT during his
distinguished military career. He received numerous awards and
decorations, including the National Defense Service Medal, Good
Conduct Medal, and Sharpshooter(Rifle)Medal. After serving our
country he worked as a Boiler Room Operator for Abbott Laboratory for
thirty-one phenomenal years.
Charles Earl Brown passed away peacefully on November 28, 2025 after
a fourteen year journey with Alzheimer’s disease. Up until the end
“Red” as he was better known by his family and friends remained his
straightforward, hardworking, content self. He was preceded in death
by his mother Ethel Mae Brown, his four brothers, Abdullah Ali, Roy
Loggins, Ray Loggins and Douglas “Doug” Simms and one sister, Susie
Marie Brown.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Monica Michelle Brown, Twenty-
six children, an abundance of grandchildren/great grandchildren and a
host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
