Carol was born in Baton Rouge, La. and resided in Gloster, Ms. Graduate of Lee High School. She worked for the State of Louisiana. Carol was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod in the fellowship of the congregations of Good Shepherd, Trinity and Cross of Calvary.  She was a founding member of the first congregation of Good Shepherd and was the first female officer for the church, as Treasurer. She was very proud of winning the National 4-H Nutrition & college scholarship from General Foods Corporation & other scholarships in 1963-64. Her favorite music was rock and roll from 50-60’s & country from 70-80’s. She loved cooking, dancing, gardening, & sewing. She loved antique shops, and it wasn’t a road trip without at least one stop. One of the items she consistently found was unique cookbooks. As mom was an avid cookbook collector and loved cooking we are asking for you to give mom one last gift. We would love to put together a cookbook from mom's friends and family. We will take it in whatever form you can provide it; written, typed, index cards, pictures of pictures, emailed, posted to the facebook event page. If you have it, we would love to add it to the book. Her favorite color was blue, so all are encouraged to wear blue to her celebration!
