Bernard Eugene Guyton, of Georgetown, Texas, was called home on June 14th, 2025. He was simply Bernard or Nard to most family and friends, and Uncle Buh or Uncle B to his nieces and nephews. He was a loving husband, an amazing father, a hard worker, an outstanding relative, a jokester and everyone's favorite person to be around.
Not a man of many photos, he often showed his love by creating memories with everyone he loved, living in the moment and putting a smile on everyone's face. He enjoyed all sports but baseball was where his heart resided. He played baseball throughout his childhood into his adulthood. Football was a close second and he didn’t hesitate to tell you how much he hated the Longhorns! He was a diehard Texas A&M fan in a sea of Longhorns! Gig Em!
He was preceded in death by his father John Willie Guyton (Billy or GG), mother Marsha Sue Guyton (Peaches or NayNay), his grandparents and many loving aunts, uncles and other family members and friends.
When his parents planted roots in East Austin, he placed his heart, soul, and pride into the love he had for his neighborhood and the memories he created with his siblings Dean Griffin and Sharon Frischen (Larry) and his best friend (and soul brother), John Paul Perales. In May of 1990, he became a father to his only child, Dessiny Guyton.
He graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in Austin, Texas in 1988 and successfully entered the workforce shortly after. He was employed at Travis Tile Sales for over 15 years where he met his beloved wife Amberley Diver. The two were so inseparable that he followed her to Prosource and worked there for four years until his untimely death.
Bernard is survived by his wife, daughter, siblings, loving in-laws, nephews Johnathon (Diana) & Terrence (Esmeralda) Frischen, & Cale Walch , three great nieces (Malia, Alayna, & Isabella Frischen), 1 expected great nephew (Michael Frischen), a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and supporters.
The family is beyond grateful for every prayer, well wish, endless love, support, cards, flowers, and condolences during this time.
A Celebration of Life will be announced and held at a later date.
