Altee Hardin Sr.

Altee Hardin Sr. was well known as “Teter”. He was born on June 20, 1942 to the late Eddie and Lorene Hardin in Austin, Texas. He entered into eternal rest peacefully on the afternoon of December 18, 2017. Altee attended Austin Public Schools and graduated from the original L.C. Anderson High School Class of 1962.

He publicly confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and was received into the full membership of South Austin Community Church on the 10th day of January 2010 under the leadership of Pastor A. L. Sneed II.

He leaves to cherish the memories of his legacy, his children: Vickie Bledsoe (Steven), Altee Hardin Jr. (Valerie), Keisha Townsend (John), Nicki Crawford, Alteshia Greer (Jason), Dee Dee Scott, Joseph Scott and Andrea Clark (Tommy) all of Austin, Texas; and Keith Hardin (Deidra) of Dallas, Texas. He also leaves twenty-four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday December 30, 2017 at 12:00pm at St. James Missionary Baptist Church 3417 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Austin, Texas 78721. Dr. B.W. McClendon, Pastor.  Under the auspices of Pastor A. L. Sneed II Officiating.

Viewing will be held Friday, December 29, 2017 from 4pm-8 pm at All Faiths Funeral Chapel-North, 8507 N. IH-35, Austin, Texas.
