Pastor Willie J. Redford

Pastor Willie J. Redford was born February 14, 1937 “Valentine’s Day” in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was the second child born of Homer Redford, Jr. and Mary Smith. He loved and cherished his Wife Bobbie Redford for 36 years.

Willie enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, 1955-1958 where he served his county proudly. He worked at Todd shipyard as a Welder on Military Ships, in Long Beach, CA. where he retired. In 1993 he Pastored Glory Christian Center Church located in Austin, Texas. He Praised God each day until his last days professing Jesus Christ is Lord.

Preceding Willie in death is his father, Mother, older brother Harvey Mason and his younger Sister Betty Jackson.

Willie leaves to cherish his memory; Bobbie (Wife) of Austin, Tx., Mack Telford (Brother Fontana, CA.) and 5 Sisters, Ruth Oglesby (Sacramento, CA), Peggy Lloyd (Shreveport, LA), Mildred Cooper (Los Angeles, CA), Mary Jackson (Shreveport, LA), Sherry Markings (Atlanta, GA).

12 Children: Lauren Redford, Linda Redford, Bonnitta Redford-Robertson, Janet Redford-Rosado, Thomas Redford, Eric J. Redford, Ryan Redford and Fun Fact the 11th Child Richard Redford, born to Bobbie on February 14th “Valentine’s Day”.

He also leaves behind many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018 at 11:00am at The Love Center Fellowship Bible Church, 5811 Berkman Dr., Austin Texas
