Fairis Denice Wicks of Austin, Texas was born September 22, 1956 to Father Eugene H. Shaw and Mother the Late Janelle Wicks both of Austin, Texas. Denice attended Austin I.S.D. and graduated from San Marcos I.S.D..

Denice accepted Christ at early age in life, she joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church, she loved her Church and attended regularly until her health declined and she could no longer attend.

Denice was preceded in death by Grandmother; Fairis Hunter, Mother; Janelle Wicks, Uncles; Bennie Hunter and Edward Brown, Nephew; Eric Perkins. Denice was a loving Mother to 4 Children, 1 Daughter Torey (Kenneth) Hunt, 3 Sons; Ollie Shaw, Nelson Mack, Corey Mack all of Austin, Texas, and we must not leave out Her precious "Max" (baby dog). Grandchildren; Tia, Keshawn, Asia, Sariya, Courtney Skyia, Shametea, Terryka, Tyara, Aniya, Anaiza and Korion who was Denice heart and soul.

She is also survived by Aunt(Sister) Glady Howard of Austin, Brother; Raymond (Kimberly) Wicks of Washington, Sisters; Windy (Ronnie) Perry of Killeen, Tx., Andrea (Donald) Atwood, Betty Morgan both of Austin.

Denice was God-Mother to Billie Fresh, Mesa McFarlin and many other young Men and young Woman that she cherished through the years. Denice had the "ya-Ya" Sister; Diane Bates-Spence, Kenya Cunningham, Syvia Williams-Lawrence, Rosalind Dove-Thopmson, Toni Manogna-Barron, these ladies were there with through the years and will Love Denice forever.

Denice was working at Camp Mabry Texas Military Department Benefits Specialist and in the pass 30 years she served in many Government office jobs.

Leaves to cherish a host of Aunties, Uncles, nieces, Nephew, Cousins and other relatives and friends. Fairis Denice Wicks will be truly missed. May God Bless everyone she touched in her life. To end the way Denice would have ended this "I Love You!!!!"

Visitation Services will be held on Wednesday, July 17th, 2019 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, 8507 N. IH-35, Austin, Texas. Home Going Celebration will be held on Thursday, July 18th, 2019 at 11:00am at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2938 E 13th St, Austin, TX 78702. Services will conclude for Denice after Home Going Celebration.
