Raymond Fennell

Raymond Fennel was born on May 17, 1950 to birth mom, Eleanor Best.  However, God provided him with adoptive parents Garrett Fennell (deceased) and Frances Griswold Fennell (deceased).  The family lived in Newark, New Jersey until he was six years old, and then they moved to Seguin,Texas.  Raymond accepted Christ early in life at Second Baptist Church in Seguin, Texas under Rev. Saddberry.  In his twenties, he accepted his call into the ministry and never looked back.  Throughout Raymond's life, education remained important.  He achieved a Bachelor of Divinity and a Master of Christian Education degree from Andersonville Theological Seminary. On September 2, 1995, Raymond married Elnita L. Campbell and became step dad to Misha McGuin and Johnnie Mitchell IV.  Raymond loved people and this was evident in each church he pastored;  Little Ebenezer Baptist Church in Hutto, TX, Emmanuel Baptist Church in Austin, TX and currently New Birth Community Baptist Church in Cedar Park, TX.  He leaves to mourn his wife, Elnita L. Campbell Fennell, stepchildren Misha McGuin (James), Johnnie Mitchell IV, Colleen, Donna, Ashley and others; grandchildren Kishion Mitchell and Elizabeth McGuin; sister Eleanor Marcella Morris (New Jersey) and Lillette Seary-Deneus ( deceased); aunts Maude Esther Armstrong (deceased) and Shirley Deas (New Jersey); in laws Larry Thompson (Terri), Joseph H. Campbell, Jr. (Veronica), Eric Campbell (Elsie).  Gwen Goodwin (Ronald), nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of family and friends.
